Immokalee cross-country runners set standard at high school & college levels

The Immokalee High Indians football team aren't the only superstars in the sports world. 

Immokalee sends forth some superstar long-distance runners, too. Argeo Cruz continues an excellent season running for the Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles, turning in a fine performance this past weekend at the NCAA South Regional meet in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Cruz is also an Academic All-American. 

And the Immokalee High cross-country team is headed next weekend for the Florida State Championships in Dade City.
